Corporate Planning Officer

Permanent Full Time

Band 6 - $83,840 per annum plus superannuation

An opportunity exists in our Financial and Corporate Planning Department to support the development and embedding of key Frankston City Council strategic documents, including the Council Plan, Annual Report and Performance reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing effective working relationships across the organisation and with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and integrated strategic planning outcomes are achieved;
  • Providing support to staff with our Corporate Performance system
  • Developing and supporting the continuous improvement of the quarterly and annual performance reports;
  • Analysis of reporting outcomes and interpretation for stakeholders and different audiences;
  • Supporting the delivery of key corporate planning initiatives, including the development of strategic corporate planning documents such as the New Council Plan.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in the development and presentation of organisational reports and have and understanding of information analysis and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce reports and presentations.
  • Previous experience in Corporate reporting and performance measures (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Local Government Act (desirable)
