Band 7 $97,222 per annum plus superannuation

An exciting opportunity exists in our Business Transformation Department to lead the development and implementation of effective data initiatives across Frankston City Council.

Frankston City Council has recognised the need to take a holistic approach to transforming its business to ensure it is fit for future, customer centric and sustainable long term.

This is one of several new roles in the Business Transformation Department which will spearhead Frankston City Council’s transformational journey into the future.

About the role

As the Lead Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • The implementation of Council’s data governance framework.
  • Providing innovative analytical insights relating to Council data.
  • Providing data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
  • Developing and enhancing Councils online data presence.

About you

  • Extensive experience in the area of data governance and data analysis and data visualisation.
  • Self-motivated with a positive can do attitude.
  • Have a customer centric mindset based on data driven decision making.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in data analysis or a related field.
