Permanent Full Time 

Band 4 $65,401 per annum plus superannuation

What we are looking for?

Council is looking for a Supervisor, Road Maintenance within the City Works Department who will be responsible for providing supervision of a small team and to carry out programmed and reactive road related maintenance work. This role has a key focus on ensuring that works are delivered as effectively as possible whilst maintaining productivity across the team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Council meets its reactive and programmed maintenance obligations in accordance with Road Management Plan. Your main responsibilities will include:  

  • Program scheduled maintenance work in accordance with the Road Management Plan to ensure compliance. 
  • Respond to request to maintain road reserve, stormwater, amenity, road furniture and concrete infrastructure.
  • Supervise works effectively so that it meets the service, quality standards requirements and meet the stipulated time frames.

About you

  • Extensive experience and practical knowledge in concrete, road, asphalt and maintenance works
  • Ability to prioritise and plan works at least a week in advance
  • Ability to supervise a small team and plan and direct their work.
  • Road Foreman, Superintendent of Works or Supervision Certificate qualification
