Information Management Officer

Permanent Part Time (30.4 hrs per week)

Band 4, $65,401 - $69,599 (pro rata) plus superannuation

What we are looking for?

An opportunity exists in the Governance and Information Department to assist the Information Management team in providing an efficient and effective records and information management service to the organisation ensuring corporate records are maintained in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, industry standards and legislative requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting with the classification, digitisation and processing of incoming correspondence.
  • Carrying out all aspects of records management activities including capture, archive and destruction, and processing requests for retrieval of records.
  • Providing general records management guidance and support including the general use of the EDMS to staff within the organisation.
  • Providing high quality customer service, and develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all internal and external customers.

About you

  • Qualification and/or experience in all aspects of records management activities
  • Excellent computer and communication skills
  • Experience with an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) would be highly regarded
